The essence of the image, its interpretation from the viewpoints of the philosophical, sociological, political science, psychological and pedagogical scientific concepts was considered in the work. The types of image, its ttributes and factors, their key characteristics are analyzed.
The mechanism of forming the professional image of the head by forming "I-concept" as a way of behavior and self-assessment was generalized; its target moments and regularities were highlighted. The interdependence of image and professional career, the stages of development of the image according to the stages of professional growth were grounded. The conditions of efficient forming the professional image of the educational institution heads were shown.
У роботі розглядається суть іміджу, його тлумачення з позицій філософської, соціологічної, політологічної, психологічної та педагогічної наукових концепцій. Аналізуються види іміджу, атрибути і фактори, їх ключові характеристики. Узагальнено механізм формування професійного іміджу керівника через формування «Я-концепції» як способу поведінки та оцінки самого себе. Виділено його цільові моменти та закономірності. Обгрунтовано взаємообумовленість іміджу та професійної кар’єри, наведено етапи розвитку іміджу відповідно до етапів професійного зростання. Розкрито умови ефективності формування професійного іміджу керівників освітніх організацій.
