Abstract:
У статті висвітлюється питання важливості формування соціокультурної компетентності майбутнього вчителя-словесника як необхідної складової його професійної підготовки.
The article deals with the importance of modeling future teacher-philologist’s sociocultural competence as an essential part of it’s training. The author considers the main scientific works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists, devoted to particular aspects of the research problem; the key definition of the term "sociocultural competence of a native speaker" in Ukrainian linguodidactics is supplied there. The scientists’ interpretation to the essence of the notion "competence approach in training" is noticed here.
The author submit samples of tasks that are appropriate to suggest for students to perform at the practical and laboratory classes of the Methodology of teaching Ukrainian at school for realizing the goal of forming future teachers’ sociocultural competence of Ukrainian language and literature. Attention is payed to the students’ selection not only the sociocultural, but also with the direction of local history texts.
We can conclude that one of the main priorities in the process of future teachers-philologists’ preparation in higher education institution should be the development of socio-cultural competence, which is essential in professional and social success both in Ukraine and in Europe.
