ЗНАКОВО-СИМВОЛІЧНА НАОЧНІСТЬ: СУТНІСТЬ ТА КЛАСИФІКАЦІЯ

Abstract

У статті розглянуто проблему співвідношення категорій «знак» та «символ» у філософському, психологічному та педагогічному значеннях. Авторами проведено аналіз різних підходів до їх тлумачення. Розглянуто погляди науковців щодо визначення категорії «знаково-символічна наочність».На основі аналізу різних підходівдо тлумачення даного поняття виявлено основні його характеристики та уточнено зміст. У результаті узагальнення, аналізу та синтезу різних підходів до класифікації знаковосимволічних засобів наочності авторами розроблено типологію, яка відображає поділ дидактичних засобів підготовки майбутніх педагогів професійного навчання з урахуванням її специфіки.

The article deals with the problem of using sign and symbolic visual aidsin the process of educating the teachers of professional training. The problem of applying visual aids in the process of teaching is very important for the system of higher education today. Modern visual aids should be simple and compact but they also should carry the main idea of the teaching material. The authors think that the usage of the signs and symbols structured in the form of schemes should be reexamined. Purpose.The article aims to clarify the concept of «sign and symbolic visual aids» and development of the classification of sign and symbolic visual aids, which are used in the process of educating the teachers of professional training. Methods.The authors used the methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization. Results.The authors come to the conclusion that sign and symbolic visual aids are the kind of visual aids that transfer the content of educational material and display formative, systematic and structural, systematic and functional and other relationships of the designated objects through the conditional and symbolic form. The authors analyze in detail the classifications of sign and symbolic visual aids in different sciences. The authors propose to divide the sign and symbolic visual aids into four groups: graphic, natural, non-verbal and internal. Originality. The main characteristics and updated content of sign and symbolic visual aids concept are defined. The authors have developed sign and symbolic visual aids typology taking into account the specific content of the the process of educating the teachers of professional training. Conclusion. The great methodical potential of sign and symbolic visual aids in teaching confirms the need of further studying and development of the methodics of their application in the process of educating the teachers of professional training.
