До проблеми розвитку критичного мислення учнів молодшого шкільного віку в Україні

Abstract

У статті розкриваються теоретичні засади розвитку критичного мислення особистості в контексті сучасної школи. Проблема розвитку критичного мислення учнів початкової школи висвітлюється в контексті порівняння досвіду США та України. Авторами статті узагальнено результати аналізу педагогічної діяльності учителів початкових класів сучасної школи України та свій власний досвід роботи в США. На основі цього визначаються психолого-педагогічні умови розвитку критичного мислення молодших школярів в умовах Нової української школи.

Modern science and practice defines the critical thinking skills of the individual as one of the leading in the rating of professional skills. The importance of it is confirmed by the practice of widespread using the technology for developing students’ critical thinking in other advanced countries of the world. Against this background, reforming the primary education system in Ukraine necessitates the search for new content, forms, methods and teaching aids aimed at developing the critical thinking of students, including primary school pupils. In this regard, the main element of the New Ukrainian School should be such techniques and technologies that would help teach children to think, analyze and express their position critically.
