Потенціал мобільних технологій у формуванні соціокультурної компетентності на заняттях української діалектології

Abstract

У статті висвітлено проблему використання мобільних технологій у процесі формування соціокультурної компетентності студентів закладів вищої освіти на заняттях української діалектології. Проаналізовано додатки для мобільних пристроїв, що допомагають опановувати територіальні різновиди окремих мов світу, орієнтуватися в діалектному мовному середовищі; стають у нагоді у процесі дослідження говорів; сприяють виявленню статики та динаміки мовних елементів, уточненню ареалів поширення певних діалектних явищ. Висвітлено потенційні можливості використання мобільних технологій у процесі дослідження та вивчення говорів української мови.

Using advanced information technologies is an integral part of modern life and this process rapidly penetrates into the educational process. Methodists, innovating teachers constantly try to find and improve teaching methods. The search for new tools that would help to intensify the learning process to individualize and achieve its high efficiency are of great demand. Mobile technologies make it possible to enrich the teaching process, meet the needs of students in wide spreading and constant accessing educational information. The problem of mobile learning is not new. But the methodics of mobile application in teaching certain subjects, particularly of philological direction was not researched properly. The aim of the research is to analyze the opportunities and to outline the prospects of mobile technologies in the study of the Ukrainian dialects. Most textbooks give a general description of dialects and their linguistic subdivisions. Constant adding details and updating the most actual information in the print versions of textbooks does not make sense from the pragmatic point of view. But updating information in the electronic manual is quite grounded. It does not require a lot of time or expenses. This publication can always be on you by just downloading to the mobile device (e-book, tablet, or smart phone).Unfortunately special applications for mobile devices that ensure studying the course "Ukrainian dialectology" or giving information on regional linguistic peculiarities of Ukraine have not been created for presence. In this case it is necessary to study the foreign experience. Now the store for Android devices suggests insignificant number of programs aimed at identifying specific dialect features of differentareas. The potential possibilities of application of the Ukrainian dialects can be as follows: providing the general information on the Ukrainian dialects with their presentation on the map of Ukraine; thesaurus, which would cover the vocabulary of the Ukrainian language and dialect counterparts; including the ability to be displayed on the map, where the same or similar word form was traced; dictionary of dialect words with examples of their use in text or speech situations; survey of respondents with small questionnaires in order to: obtain information on the current status of dialects, identify their dynamics; clarify the arealogy of certain dialectal phenomena; find the features of using words by speakers of different age; clarify the semantics of individual titles in the particular area; online access to phonetic fund of dialect with speech samples (preferably, they would be compiled also thematically to have an idea about the culture, traditions, way of life, the history of certain regions).Of course, all the possible functions of such programs can not be mentioned in this report as it is necessary not only to complement, but also to implement them.So, today mobile technologies with real application can be used in the process of investigating Ukrainian dialects: they help with finding the necessary information, listening to audio version of dialects. They have great potential for better acquiring the course material by students. In addition they have to become the new source in the study of the Ukrainian language dialects.
