Abstract:
The article presents the peculiarities of education for the sustainable
development of such world regions, which differ in local history, political
and cultural traditions, manifestations of "instability": sub-Saharan Africa,
the Asia-Pacific region, Arab states, Latin America and the Caribbean,
Europe and the North America. Three types of countries have been identified
and characterized by the levels of implementation of the ESD in the national
educational systems and training systems of educators in the region of
Europe and North America.
